How much is a poor condition 1959 barbie worth?
I recently bought I 1959 barbie at a yard sale. no box, messed up hair…..looks like crap. I was planning to wash it, reroot the hair (red), and give it to my niece as a christmas present since she told me she wanted a fire fairy barbie (as far as I know no such thing exists). My friend told me not to because it was valuble and I should keep it. What should I do? How much would it actullay be worth?
I do not think your doll is a number one,but double check does she have holes in her feet, the number one had a pony tail and she smells like crayons. You may have one a bit later.
There are websites that tell you how to reroot you should visit those. I went on Ebay and searched for you and found one barbie done in reds and orange, There is a whole fairy collection out. Go to www.ebay and advance search plug in Fairy Barbie then you can see whats there, they do have ooak wings available too so if you decide to make one.
